Volunteers and Friends of the Humane Society

The Humane Society of West Alabama is looking for animal lovers with time and energy! Volunteers can work directly with animals at the Humane Society Adoption Center or foster care center, or with transporting animals, fostering and rescue, or adoption events. Or they work indirectly, at the  Flea Market, publicity and humane education, or at any of our special fund-raising events.

If you want to volunteer, but are not sure what you can do, start by looking at our volunteer application, which lists the numerous areas/activities for which we need volunteers.
