Be a Volunteer

The Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization; we can always use more volunteers interested in helping animals.  If you are ready to volunteer, contact our volunteer coordinator.  If you're not sure how you can help, you might want to come to one or our quarterly meetings for Friends and Volunteers. Check our Events calendar for the next meeting, and check the Volunteer calendar for volunteer opportunities.

Foster Homes 

Can you provide a Foster Home for an animal waiting for adoption?

Become a Member of the Humane Society

Humane Society members receive the newsletter and information about the activities of the Humane Society. Membership categories are:
- Junior $5 - $14
- Individual $15 - $24
- Family $25 - $99
- Sponsor $100 - $249
- Patron $250 - $499
- Angel $500 or More
To become a member, download the membership form, and mail it with your check (made out to Humane Society of West Alabama) to the address shown below.

You can send your membership fee online through PayPal, see below.  Then download and send us the membership form to complete the membership process.

Make a Donation to the Humane Society

The Humane Society has many animals in foster care, waiting to be adopted. All the animals receive necessary vet care, and when old enough, are spayed/neutered. If you would like to make a contribution to help with the Humane Society's vet costs, download the membership/donation form , and mail it with your check (made out to Humane Society of West Alabama) to this address:

Donate Goods or Services from our Wishlist
