Bark in the Bark is an annual fundraiser for the Will May Memorial Dog Park in Sokol Park. This year it will be held Saturday, April 18th, 2020. This event, sponsored by the Tuscaloosa Association of REALTORS, helps raise money for improvements to the dog park.

The event is free to attend so come on out for family fun including: face painting, free dog washes, and even the chance to adopt! We look forward to seeing everyone there! 

The HSWA will have a tent there with dogs and adoption information about all our animals. We will need volunteers to help with our booth. If you love dogs but don't have time to volunteer at our Dog Shelter, this is the event for you! Volunteers on the first and last shift will be responsible for set up/take down of the booth, as well as greeting visitors and selling merchandise. Those on the midday shift will just be required to talk to the public about our group and help with selling some items, such as tshirts and calendars. A member of our Board of Directors will be present at all times to help answer any questions you may have. 

 

We will need volunteers for 3 different shifts (please note the slightly different times than from DCAF): 

Morning: 9:00-11:00

Midday: 11:30-1:30

Afternoon: 1:30-3:30
