The 20th annual Canine Classic 5K
 

Join us Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Cardinal Park by the Tuscaloosa National Airport in Northport for the 20th Annual Canine Classic 5K.

The Canine Classic 5K Race is directed by the Humane Society of West Alabama in conjunction with the Tuscaloosa Track Club. Sports drinks, fruit and water will be available for participants. This race is runner and walker-friendly, but it is for people only (dogs are welcome at the event, but cannot participate for safety reasons). Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race start is 8 a.m. This is an official race of the 2022 Tuscaloosa Track Club Grand Prix of West Alabama (Race ID: #AL 15049JD)

The Canine Classic is a great way to get out, be active, and have some fun while supporting the HSWA. We are a no-kill, all volunteer 501(c)3 charity that runs entirely off of private donations and fundraisers, like this! Don't delay in registering, because the first 150 people to sign up get a T-shirt on the day of the race. All participants will be entered into a drawing for door prizes donated by local businesses.
