As a non-profit 501(c)3 charity that does not receive any form of government funding, The Humane Society of West Alabama relies entirely upon private donations and fundraisers. With our resources, we are limited in the number of animals we can care for at any given time. During periods in which we can no longer accept any new intakes, we offer Courtesy Listings on our PetFinder site for any pets you may have that need to be re-homed. In these cases, the animal stays within your care and you are responsible for vetting any potential adopters. This service is used to help advertise the pet in question.

Whether it is your own pet or an animal you have rescued from the streets, please feel free to fill out the below forms (note: there is one for cats and one for dogs), email it to the address indicated in red on the form, and a volunteer from the HSWA will be in touch to confirm receipt.
